I've dined at Max London's many times over the last several years and remarkably, the experience is as good as the previous, time after time. As I find Saratoga Springs (from a food perspective) becoming increasingly boring and too polished, this place still has it.
As one of Saratoga's only spots for a real brunch, its usually a well worth wait; in part due to the popularity and the fact they don't take or need to take reservations (under 6 people). Another plus, is we have never been shunned for bringing children and always felt quite welcome.
Their menu is usually crafted week to week and this visit, we ordered the Full English Breakfast Pizza. I substituted the bacon for pepperoni.
Others with us had French Toast with cinnamon butter, frites with rosemary aioli (mayo) and tomato bisque.
I've experienced too many times, a Saratoga establishment deliver great meals and experiences, only to precipitously decline once they seek to increase revenue by appealing to crowds outside of Saratoga.
I can say with empirical evidence, this place is keeping it culture and mission close to the vest.
